Sharon is one of my sister’s best friends and I have been privileged to get to know both her and Hendrik better on vacation trip to a farm in the stunning Karoo in 2017. The love and adoration they have for each other is so beautiful and their caring hearts for others are evident. Their wedding was so special. The morning started off with a bit of rain, but it all cleared up later and they got married under the big oak trees at Nooitgedacht.

Johannie is one of the most organised people I know and she likes lists just like me. The two of us go a while back when I moved to Stellenbosch at the end of 2014. We started as flat mates who became dear friends. She was also the person who suggested me to a friend to help with her wedding and that is where my on-the-day wedding coordination started. What a privilege to have also been involved with her big day.

In the middle of winter on the beautiful wine farm Brenaissance, Brandon and Carmen said their “I dos”. The on-the-day coordination was such a pleasure and I had the privilege to work with amazing people. The rain made things interesting, but we were so grateful when it settled just in time for the bridesmaids and bride to walk into the chapel. The colours of the wedding were soft hues of pink, white and green, and pops of silver and gold. Every detail was so well planned by the bride and it looked stunning!

I first met this lovely couple at a wedding that I coordinated back in March 2017 – the wedding of Benjamin and Laura, who happens to be the brother and sister of Paolo and Jess. What’s so unique about this story is that these two couples are the best of friends, and also siblings – Laura and Paulo are siblings, as are Jess and Benjamin!

It was the perfect summer’s day in Stellenbosch for Matt and Danelle’s wedding at Nooitgedacht. The bride is a very talented graphic designer and designed all the stationery and did the planning herself. The elegance and detail of the wedding with its modern and vibrant floral twist was simply magical. I also loved how Danelle played with the colour black throughout her entire theme to bring everything together beautifully.

I was so excited when Simoné asked me to do the on-the-day wedding coordination for her wedding. She is a dear colleague, talented graphic designer and friend. They got married in Cape Town on the rooftop of the Media 24 building known – a venue better known as Nasdak. This venue was spectacular and truly something different, boasting a 360-degree view of the Mother City.

Herman and Leentjie was the first couple to ever get married at San Gabriel. This venue has so much potential and is a true hidden gem – for now, of course! Their ceremony was held outside in the small forest, close to the cottages on the farm. Pre-drinks and speeches took place on the lawn and the food was served in the manor house.

Joel and Sarah got married on a beautiful summer’s day between the vineyards and mountains on Haskerville. Their backdrop was truly magical and the flower arch at the front served as a stunning work of art! The church service was so special, with shouts of joy and praise travelling over the landscape.
